Smart-Cup uses a horizontally
mounted chromel-alumel thermocouple inside a cup,
the volume of which has been chosen to make it
suitable for all applications. The disposable
Smart-Cup fits firmly on its stand, giving perfect
contact throughout the entire measuring period,
so assuring trouble free operation. Use of compensating
cable ensures that, the required accuracy is maintained
throughout the system.

Smart Carbon Cup - S:
Based on the thermal analysis of a solidified
metal sample instant carbon control sensors
are available as a poured cup version. During
primary steel melting and steel foundry
casting, an instant carbon measurement prior
to tap can avoid time delays and off-specification
chemistry, especially where medium carbon
tap levels . This test cup can be used for
determination % Carbon. Available with "
S" or " R" type thermocouple.

tellurium): By thermal analysis of a solidified
unalloyed grey cast iron this test cup can
be used to determine Eutectic Cell Count(ECC),
type of Microstructure, Tensile strength,
Brinell Hardness, Inoculation Effectiveness
measurement.
In case of Ductile( Spheroidal Graphite)
iron this test cup can be used to determine
Nodularity, Nodule count, Shrinkage Index.
